Makers Haven Advent: A December tradition written in wool.

This December, I wanted to create something slower.

Something you don’t rush through.

Something you open after the house quiets.

Something that feels like it belongs to you.

So, I wrote you a story.

For twelve quiet December days, you’ll unwrap more than yarn.

This is a slow ritual, a cup-of-tea-after-the-kids-are-asleep kind of tradition. It's a story that lives in your hands. It's a limited literary fiber experience, and once they’re gone, the story closes.

Each package accompanies one chapter of the original novella, written just for this advent. The colorway of each day reflects the emotional arc of the chapter — winter dusk blues, candlelit ambers, snowfall neutrals, evergreen shadows, memory-soft blushes.

As the story unfolds, so does your palette. On Christmas Day, you’ll open one final parcel — a special gift that completes both the story and the set.

Advents will include: a signed copy of the Blue Castle re-telling as well as additional goodies sprinkled into the adventure such as stitch markers, progress keepers, etc.

Deluxe Advent Includes: 4 - 100g, 5 - 50g, & 4 - 20g skeins 

Standard Advent Includes: 12 - 20g & 1 - 100g skein

Mini Skein Advent Includes: 13 - 20g skeins (Book NOT Included, Does Include Extras)

A variety of all bases of yarn we carry will be included, all in fingering weight.

In my North Carolina home studio each skein is hand-dyed slowly, named intentionally, and created to become something meaningful. Due to the nature of artisan dyeing, slight tonal variations are to be expected and are part of its character and charm.
